RESPONSIBLY REIMAGINED RESCOURCES

Plastic drinks bottles are increasingly an environmental hazard and especially so when either they, or the plastics from which they are made, find their way in the world's waterways and oceans.

However, it's not the 'plastic bottles' that are the real problem.

Rather it is us humans who both employ them inappropriately, and dispose of them irresponsibly. And that is not to mention our failing to value the resources invested in them nearly enough.

It's might be a small thing in one sense but when the problem is compounded by the millions of times us humans, especially first world humans, mismanage the resources that are invested in them, then the problem sets off a chain reaction of environmental explosions.

Almost the worst thing we can do is imagine that these bottles can be 'recycled'. That's such a bland and one-dimensional 'get-out-of-gaol' imagining that let's off far too easily.  Rather, we need to Reuse, Reimagine & Repurpose the Resources and do so Responsibly – 5Rs
